À l'heure où, chez nos voisins, Emmanuel Macron impose à la population française de choisir son camp, le documentaire "White Power, au cœur de l'extrême-droite" dresse un constat inquiétant et passe en revue les militants et partis d’ultra droite de trois pays européens : l’Allemagne, la France et la Belgique. Le réalisateur Christophe Cotteret et ses intervenants analysent la situation dans son ensemble. Des réactionnaires de base aux néonazis sociopathes de l’AFD, en passant par les adeptes du Klux Klux Klan, les mécontents de la société multiculturelle, les antisystèmes, les patriotes, les négationnistes et les royalistes. Un constat qui dénonce non seulement l’augmentation progressive des scores de l’extrême droite aux élections nationales et européennes mais aussi une résurgence des groupuscules ultra violents partout sur le vieux continent.
Le réalisateur s’attarde en particulier sur le cas de la ville de Lyon qu’il décrit comme "la Mecque des droites extrêmes françaises, voire européennes" où un écosystème particulièrement violent de militants "jouit d’une longue tradition" et où seule la contre-violence des "anti-fachistes" semble tenir un rôle d’opposition.
En ce qui concerne la Belgique, le "cordon sanitaire" empêchant l’extrême droite de s’exprimer en direct sur les plateaux de télévision appliqué par les médias belges francophones est décrit comme efficace et inspirant. Christophe Cotteret en veut pour preuve la dissolution du Front National Belge disparu en 2012. En effet, la fédération Wallonie Bruxelles fait figure d’exception à l’échelle européenne avec une quantité marginale de vote à l’extrême droite, lui préférant un vote important à l’extrême gauche.
Plus que jamais, l’intolérance, les amalgames, la violence et les idées simplistes font recette faces aux problèmes complexes de notre société dont personne ne semble vouloir s’occuper.
Ce documentaire d'investigation nous plonge au cœur des mouvements d'extrême-droite violents. A travers plusieurs pays européens, il interroge nos sociétés face à l'ultra-droite grandissante. Selon les responsables du contreterrorisme à Europol, la menace des violences d'extrême-droite sur le territoire européen, supplantera bientôt la menace des filières djihadistes des précédentes décennies. Pour tenter de comprendre la résurgence actuelle de l'ultra-droite, nom donné à l'extrême-droite qui inscrit son combat hors des institutions et par la violence, ce documentaire analyse les fondements des extrêmes droites européennes. Il part à la rencontre des membres de cette ultra-droite, dont des ex néo-nazis. Activistes encore actifs ou bien repentis, chacun d'entre eux a par le passé commis des actions violentes. Leur témoignage nous plonge, de l'intérieur, dans l'idéologie et les modes d'actions qui anime l'extrême-droite violente européenne. Ultras nous fait ainsi découvrir une véritable nébuleuse internationale menaçant nos démocraties libérales.

Toutes et tous – chercheurs, ingénieurs, astrophysiciens et astronautes – reconnaissent l'émotion et le rêve comme une part intégrante de leur discipline, dans un quotidien souvent austère où le rationnel côtoie l'extraordinaire, et avouent ne jamais "couper entre la vie professionnelle et la vie personnelle".
Sous la caméra de Gérald Caillat, ces "arpenteurs de l'espace" (le couple d'astronautes français en activité à la fin des années 1990, Claudie et Jean-Pierre Haigneré, le pétillant astrophysicien Sylvestre Maurice, ou encore Michel Denis, ancien responsable des opérations des missions martiennes de l'Agence spatiale européenne) font revivre les émotions fortes qui les ont saisis au summum de leur carrière. Dans leur sillage, une invitation à lever la tête vers les étoiles, cette prodigieuse machine à rêves.

World War II Documentary - After the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, what had started as a mainly European war, had now turned into a global conflict, with America’s focus now shifting towards the Pacific War as well as The North African and Italian Campaigns.
Japan's attack had backfired and far from wiping out American influence in the Pacific, they had just awoken a sleeping giant, with the subsequent Battles of the Corral sea and Midway shifting the balance of the war. The Allies would also see success in North Africa, with Erwin Rommel 'The Desert Fox' being forced off the continent, securing Egypt and in particular the Suez Canal for the British. From Africa, the Allies would be able to disrupt Axis operations in the Medditarain with the Invasions of Sicily and Italy all on the horizon. The War was finally turning in the Allies favour and it would not be long until the Axis were retreating, being pushed all the way back to their homelands.
