Aller, aujourd’hui on parle des fantasmes féminin ! Du calme : les fantasmes historiques ! Peut-être qu’une des périodes qui éveille le plus ce genre d’idées, c’est la Renaissance. On redécouvre une sagesse perdue, on atteint des sommets artistiques, et des idées nouvelles, humanistes, engendrent la modernité. Alors, forcément, on fantasme : les femmes seront-elles plus libres ? Plus puissantes ? Avec plus de reconnaissance dans les milieux des arts et des lettres ? Ou à l’inverse, on se rappelle aussi que la Renaissance marque le début de la fameuse “chasse aux sorcières”, avec là aussi son cortège de fantasmes : la femme maléfique, alliée du diable, dangereuse ! Le bon plan pour explorer tous ces portraits, réels ou imaginaires, c’est d’aller tout droit au Musée des Beaux Arts de Tours, qui organise une super expo, “le Sceptre et la Quenouille”. Pour entrer dans le sujet et y voir plus clair, je vais donc laisser la parole à une experte : la commissaire de l’expo en personne !
