Le Triangle des Bermudes : à la simple évocation de ce nom, l´imagination s´enflamme. Cette partie mystérieuse et redoutée de l´océan Atlantique est délimitée par une forme triangulaire qui court de la Floride jusqu´à l´archipel des Bermudes et au territoire de Porto Rico.

Au cours du siècle dernier, c´est ici qu´on disparus nombre de navires, d´avions... et de passagers, mystérieusement volatilisés sans laisser de trace.

Mais que savons-nous vraiment de cet espace maritime de 1 300 km2 ?
Et comment s´est forgée sa réputation, aussi sinistre qu´énigmatique ?
Y a-t-il dans cette région océanique quelque chose de « différent » qui soi-disant coûte si cher en vies humaines ?

Le Triangle des Bermudes a fait l´objet d´une kyrielle de récits, mais aucun n´est allé autant « en profondeur » que ce documentaire. Afin de réellement analyser et enquêter sur cette étrange contrée de l´Atlantique, des scientifiques ont littéralement « drainé » ce Triangle de légendes pour constater, pour la première fois, ce qui se cachait sous son eau.
À l´aide des données transmises par des sonars de technologie avancée, il est désormais possible d´observer le plancher océanique des Bermudes. Quelles étranges caractéristiques géologiques ont-elles surgi de cette étude ?
Différentes plongées et expéditions menées dans le cadre du tournage ont-elle permis d´apporter des éléments sur tous les tragiques et incompréhensibles événements qui se sont produits ici ?
