Bisou Bass, "le bassiste de la terre" est né le 22 Octobre 1979 à douala au Cameroun. Très jeune, il s'intéresse à la guitare grâce à son frère ainé musicien. Bisou Bass commence alors par apprendre à jouer de la guitare rythmique et solo. Mais, plutard, il est séduit par la guitare basse qui fait les beaux jours de plusieurs Camerounais en Europe. Il est tellement doué que en moins d'un an, il sillonne le pays avec les artistes majeurs du Cameroun. Très vite, il commence à se sentir à l'étroit et aménage chez son fameux frère musicien à Nice où il passe une saison et monte à la conquête de la capitale française. A Paris, il rencontre tous ses mentors et particulièrement Etienne Mbappè qui le conseille. Il devient alors l'un des bassistes de studio les plus demandés et forme la nouvelle équipe nationale du Makossa.
