Born in Saigon, Lam's life journey took him from being a Vietnamese immigrant to an esteemed U.S. Army soldier, inspired by his family members' service. He has an impressive 22-year military career, most notably with the Special Operations Community, contributing his expertise in areas such as counter-terrorism, unconventional warfare, and force protection.

After his military service, Lam co-founded Ronin Tactics, offering real-world tactical training and developing tactical products to meet the rigorous demands of law enforcement and special operations. Besides his decorated military service, including receiving three Bronze Stars, he holds a BA in Homeland Security and Intelligence. Now living in Colorado, Lam continues to share his wealth of experience and leadership, inspiring others with his remarkable journey from Saigon to the Special Forces.

Shanti Schiks is a strong and inspirational woman, who has encouraged many going through a hard time after she had her own period of suffering.
In the summer of 2016, Shanti’s ex killed their 11-month old son Elfin. Shanti wrote a book about her loss, to give her grief a place, she also gave workshops to help people to process their traumatic experiences or give them the strength to free themselves from a bad situation. She has published her second book last year which spirituality combines exercises to find self love based on the
insights she found after the loss. Sharing her emotional story of the loss of her son, Shanti will share with the audience how they can be more self-loving, and how she has turned this traumatic experience into something very powerful and valuable. There is a stigma on self-talk as an outcome of mental distress, but the technique of "self-talk" when appropriately used not only shows empirically studied rises in an ability to regulate emotions, to focus, to identify new opportunities, and to see the world as a welcoming place. Furthermore, self-talk is especially essential for people of color or women who have been raised in a predominantly white, male, financially stable, thin, heterosexual, and Christian mainstream. He has received a BS in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and a Masters in Public Health in Policy and Management, as well as coaching accolades from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching and the WholeBeing Institute. ○ Werkeinführung:

Die Biografie von Jacques Ibert hält die ein oder andere Überraschung parat. Sein Studium finanzierte der Schüler von Gabriel Fauré als Klavierimprovisateur bei Stummfilmaufführungen. 1919 konnte Ibert den begehrten »Prix de Rome« für sich ergattern. Später war er in der italienischen Hauptstadt Direktor der französischen Akademie. Und in den 1950er Jahren wirkte er als Verwaltungsdirektor der beiden Pariser Opernhäuser. Auch die Werkliste von Ibert liest sich bunt und heterogen: Neben Opern und Orchesterstücken finden sich darauf eine Operette und über 50 Filmmusiken.

In eine gehobene Music Hall entführt uns Iberts »Divertissement« – eine typisch Pariser Komposition der 1920er Jahre: frech, frivol und »très française«. Die sechs Sätze hat Ibert zusammengestellt aus einer 1928 komponierten Schauspiel- bzw. Filmmusik für das Stück »Un chapeau de paille d’Italie«. Stilistisch steht sie in einer Linie mit einigen in Paris uraufgeführten Balletten, die ihre Vorläufer in Igor Strawinskys »Petruschka« von 1911 und Erik Saties »Parade« von 1917 haben: 1920 folgte Darius Milhauds »Le bœuf sur le toit«, ein Jahr später »Les mariés de la Tour Eiffel«, komponiert von fünf Mitgliedern der »Groupe des Six«, 1924 Francis Poulencs »Les Biches« und 1927 Gabriel Piernés »Impressions de Music Hall«.

Sein »Divertissement« hat Ibert für Kammerorchester gesetzt, mit einigen in ihrer Kombination mit den Streichern skurril wirkenden Instrumenten wie Klavier, Celesta, Holzblock, Tamburin oder Trillerpfeife. Nach der »Introduction«, die wie eine Miniatur-Ouvertüre zu einer Komischen Oper wirkt, verballhornt Ibert in »Cortège« (Prozession) Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdys »Hochzeitsmarsch« aus
»Ein Sommernachtstraum«. Das »Nocturne« hält nicht seinen anfänglichen Ernst, und die »Valse« liebäugelt ebenso mit Spieldosenmusik wie mit dem weitschwingenden Johann-Strauß-Walzer »An
der schönen blauen Donau«. »Parade« verweist auf Satie, bevor das »Finale« erst mit Cluster-Akkorden im Klavier die Musikavantgarde auf die Schippe nimmt und dann wildes Treiben in der Zirkus-Manege heraufbeschwört.

Ismael Lo nasce no Níger em 1956 de pai senegalês e mãe Nigeriana vem viver para o Senegal. Ainda novo forma a banda Super Diamono. Em 1988 começa a sua carreira a solo e, em 1996 com o CD Jammu África é considerado o melhor cantor compositor de África.

Ismael Lo was born in Rufisque, Senegal, the son of a Senegalese father and Nigerian mother. Lo is the only one who became a musician. He loved music from an early age and got his start playing a homemade one-string guitar. Early American influences included Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett and Etta James, and he learned their songs by listening to the radio. At first he only played for the joy of it and never considered performing, but then an older brother, who owned a club, asked him to play on a local television show. Lo said no the first time, and continued to study decorating and painting at a trade school, but a few months later he reconsidered and appeared on the show. He was an instant hit and this inspired him to think about performing full-time. In 1979, a singer/songwriter invited him to play in a band, called Super Diamono Ð a super group, , that played mbalax-blues. Lo, with his talent for guitar playing and song writing, quickly established himself as a key figure in the band and soon became the second lead singer, backup singer and rhythm guitarist. By the early '80s he found himself wanting to launch a solo career, but felt like he would leave a gaping hole in the band that could destroy it. In 1984, the pressure became too much and he left for Spain to do some painting. He began recording as a solo artist upon his return. Ismael Lo participates in creating an acute awareness of the hiv virus and the havoc it causes in Africa. He produced and acted in a mini-movie regarding the issue.

To date he remains actively involved in sensitising and informing Africa on the epidemic. Among his many talents besides singing are; painting, writing and acting.
